FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Bosch has been recognized with a 2018 Automotive News PACE (Premier Automotive Suppliers’ Contributions to Excellence) Award for its integrated connectivity cluster, an all-in-one rider information and communication center designed especially for motorcycles and powersports vehicles.
Bosch’s integrated connectivity cluster combines traditional instrumentation with wide range of infotainment features into a single device. The integrated connectivity cluster connects to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth, and, through intuitive controls on the handlebar, the riders are effortlessly able to make and receive phone calls, access their contact lists and listen to music. Further functionality is available with mySPIN – an innovative smartphone integration solution, which allows riders to use smartphone apps such as navigation while riding via the cluster unit. By leaving the hands undisturbed on the handlebars, it reduces rider distraction.
Thanks to optical bonding and anti-reflection coating, the crystal-clear display is easy to read in all weather conditions and withstands rain. In direct sunlight and in the dark, the colors are distinct and the contrast is very high. The integrated connectivity cluster’s intuitive interface and innovative technology for enhanced readability increase riding safety and convenience, and it allows riders to focus on enjoying their ride.

Bosch has been honored with several Automotive News PACE Awards over the last decade, including:
- A 2017 Innovation Partnership Award for its collaboration with Ford Motor Company and TI Automotive to develop its Port Fuel and Direct Injection System (P-DI);
- A 2016 award for its Linear Force Solenoid (LFS) technology;
- A 2014 award for its laser-drilling technology for spray enhancements in gasoline direct injection; and
- Back-to-back awards in 2010 and 2011 for its innovative collaboration with Bombardier Recreational Products Inc. and its P2 Parallel Full Hybrid System, respectively.
The 2018 Automotive News PACE Awards were presented April 9, 2018, at the Max M. Fisher Music Center in Detroit.
