Bosch Community Fund awards grants to organizations in Lincolnton, North Carolina, area for hands-on STEM programs

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Bosch Community Fund recently awarded $50,000 in grants to schools and organizations in the Lincolnton, North Carolina, area. The five grants fund student engagement in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

By investing in hands-on programs, the Bosch Community Fund strives to enhance STEM educational opportunities for students in the Lincolnton area. The grants will increase student and instructor access to regional resources, demonstrating the Bosch Community Fund’s commitment to supporting local STEM education and careers.

“The Bosch Community Fund is proud to invest in STEM programs that will help students in the Lincolnton area follow their interests and passions,” said David Lee, director of packaging at Bosch in Lincolnton. “STEM skills have become increasingly important for educational growth, making these programs more relevant to local students.”

The Lincolnton-area grants support initiatives that provide hands-on STEM activities, career guidance, circuitry and coding programs, robotics workshops and advanced manufacturing education. The Bosch Community Fund awarded grants to the following organizations:

  • STEM Career Path Project’s STEM After School Program – $10,000
  • Lincolnton Economic Development Association’s Lincoln County Manufacturing Awareness Event – $10,000
  • Communities in Schools of Lincoln County’s Career Coach Program – $10,000
  • Lincoln County Schools’ Real World Science for Elementary Students – $10,000
  • Friends of the Lincoln County Public Library’s Full STEAM Ahead: Coding and Engineering for Young Minds – $10,000

The Bosch Community Fund provides grants in U.S. communities where Bosch has locations. Since 2015, Bosch Community Fund has awarded nearly $150,000 to schools and organizations in the Lincolnton area. Annually, the Bosch Community Fund awards up to $5 million in grants to organizations invited to participate in the program.
